We will soon be moving!!! We are going south again to North Carolina…!

I just can’t believe it. Never cross my mind that we’ll leave this small town. I thougt this is it. This will be the last city we’ll live in before going back for good to Indonesia….I thought Faris will be friend with Yusuf untill they’re at least in junior high school…..I thought I’ll see Amna’s daughter get married…, I thought I grew old here….

Apparently, Allah has different plan for us. My husband got transferred to Catterpillar office in North Carolina. Since, he likes the job better.., I said "yes", when he ask my opinion if we could move there. So, here we are…in the process of moving by mid July. Everything seems so fast……..eventhough we have about 2.5 months to get ready.

I don’t wanna think too much about leaving my friends…coz that will be so hard…….(I’m gonna start crying now…..:(. I’ll just focus on what need to be done……..

First thing first…..!!! We need to sell the house………and It is so HARD!!!!So hard   becoz it’s our first house………
I don’t think I could forget this house…even if I might find nicer house later on……….This house is so "me".We customized everything..from flooring, countertops, paint in everyroom…light, appliances, everything. It’s all what we wanted. Now, I have to let everything goes to someone else……..:( I do hope they enjoy the house as much as we do…….and that I got a nice place to live like my first house……

This is the picture my house being built…..(Fall 2003). Empty lot everywhere….but now.., it’s all  done. houses are everywhere……We’re not alone anymore…:)

Our living room….. where most activities goin’ on. The Kids usually play in here  while I’m cooking, I limit the toys in this room  just because I want  this room to be  neat  all the  time.

Kids Bedroom….Nabila’s wall is decorated by Bintang. Faris "airplane" room is done by Sazia Khan. Thanks  guys!! You are very talented people!!!

My master bedroom. The color is gold. I love to combine gold with maroon..which I think make everything so elegant! I haven’t done too much decoration in this room.

This is our basement. This room is for family fun. Kids’ toys are all in here. We have a surround sound install in this room where we can experience "theater"feel since we don’t go to theater this day…

The kitchen where we hang out a lot!!!!! The color is bright and inviting. This room is next to the living room. This is where I do my least favorite job..: Cooking!!!

Anyway.., our house will be in the market in the next two week. I have to keep it clean and neat all the time just in case people want to see it. Please make a du’a for us that this house sale quikly, InsyaAllah!!!

"Mom, can I be in a ballet class, please..please..please?", my little Nabila begged me. I promised her to discuss this matter with her daddy. She loves to dance.., just like me I think:). I saw her moves..pretty amazing, actually.  Sometimes she took my hijab and wear it around her hip and start dancing. She is a natural!!

Despite all that, her father just came up with a totaly opposite plan. He took Nabila to karate class. Resistantly, she went with him. I waited anxiously at home.., wondering if she like to do karate or not. Suprisingly enough, my little -wanna be ballerina -love the class. She said she wanted to come to karate class everyday!!! She even practices her moves almost as soon as she comes back home. Whatta big suprise……

Last weekend, there was a competition for all of the students in her karate school. She competed in two divisions, "kata" and "sumo". She did pretty well, masya Allah.., she got gold medal for kata and silver medal for sumo. We were really proud of her.

She worked hard and deserved the prizes. She was very happy and proud of her self, too, of course. She wore that medals every where she went  since then.Way to go Nabila!!!!!
